Terms and Conditions
CS Property Maintenance
Effective Date: August 4th 2025.

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by CS Property Maintenance (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to our clients (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

CS Property Maintenance provides building and property maintenance services including, but not limited to:

• General repairs

• Renovations

• Painting and decorating

• Electrical and plumbing works

• External property maintenance

All work will be carried out in a professional and timely manner, subject to the availability of materials and weather conditions (where applicable).

2. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

• Prices are based on the information provided by you at the time of quoting. Any changes to the scope of work may result in a revised quote.

• All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

3. Payments

• A deposit may be required before work begins.

• Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may incur interest at 5% above the Bank of England base rate per annum.

4. Cancellation

• You may cancel work by providing written notice no less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, extreme weather, supply issues).

5. Client Responsibilities

• You must ensure access to the property at agreed times.

• You agree to provide accurate information regarding the property and the work required.

• Any concealed issues (e.g. structural damage, hidden wiring or pipes) that are not visible during initial inspection may lead to revised work or charges.

6. Materials and Guarantees

• Materials supplied by CS Property Maintenance remain our property until full payment is received.

• We may use equivalent alternative products if original items are unavailable, unless you request otherwise.

• We offer a 12-month guarantee on workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply for any materials used.

7. Liability

• We carry public liability insurance.

• We are not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers, adverse weather, or access restrictions.

• We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages unless caused by our negligence.

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the work carried out, you must inform us in writing within 7 days of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
